Although I don't consider myself a writer, I do find that as designers we end up doing our fair share of it. Whether it is copy writing for an ad or trying to explain an idea in an e-mail, these rules help tremendously. I also recently picked up a copy of "Elements of Style" by Maira Kalman at Design Thinkers this year and I adore it. All the text is easy, clever, and fun to read.
